Before You Step Into The Heat
Answers to the most common questions about ThermoCore™.
How does sauna affect my fertility?
Healthy sperm production requires a scrotal temperature 2–4°C below core body temperature. A typical sauna session raises scrotal temperature by 2–3°C — enough to push outside the optimal range. Sustained heat exposure over weeks can measurably reduce sperm count and motility.
Is the cooling insert reusable?
Absolutely. Simply place the insert in the freezer before use, then reuse it again and again for future sessions.
How long does the cooling last?
Cooling duration varies based on sauna temperature, session length, and individual body heat, but most users experience cooling support throughout a typical sauna session roughly 25-30 minutes. For longer sessions, additional inserts can be rotated as needed.
What materials are the briefs made of?
100% cotton body with a cotton/spandex waistband for a secure, comfortable fit. Cotton is deliberately chosen over synthetics — it breathes naturally and stays cooler against the skin.
Is it machine washable?
Remove the cooling insert first, then machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or air dry to preserve the cotton and extend the life of the brief.
How do I keep the cool packs cold if I go to work/gym before using them?
Pack them in a small insulated lunch bag or cooler with an ice pack. They hold their temperature well for several hours when insulated.
